Antigua and Barbuda's Foreign Minister, the Honourable E.P. Chet Greene, held a bilateral meeting on March 10th with His Excellency Andreas Kakouris, Ambassador and Special Envoy for Multilateralism for the Republic of Cyprus, according to Antigua News Room.

Minister Greene, who also holds the portfolios of Trade and Barbuda Affairs, welcomed the meeting with Ambassador Kakouris as the two sides engaged on areas of mutual interest, including blue economy cooperation and multilateral priorities shared by both nations.

As reported by Antigua News Room, the discussions centered on strengthening ties between Antigua and Barbuda and Cyprus, with the blue economy — encompassing the sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth — featuring prominently on the agenda.

The meeting reflects Antigua and Barbuda's continued diplomatic engagement on issues of strategic importance, particularly those related to the sustainable development of marine resources and cooperative approaches within multilateral frameworks.
