A Desouza Road resident narrowly avoided greater loss early Monday morning when his Toyota Altezza was discovered engulfed in flames — an alert he credits entirely to his barking dogs.
According to Antigua Observer, the man was awakened in the early hours by the sound of his dogs barking. Upon looking outside, he spotted his vehicle ablaze and immediately rushed out in an attempt to extinguish the fire himself. His efforts, however, were unsuccessful.
