ABEC Begins Training Election Workers Ahead of St. Philip North By-Election

The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has launched training sessions for election workers ahead of the upcoming St. Philip North by-election, scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2026.

According to Antigua News Room, the training sessions began on Monday and are being held at the Glanvilles Community Centre. Returning Officer Ms. Avonella Benjamin is facilitating the sessions.

The training marks an early preparatory step by ABEC as the commission works to ensure election workers are equipped for the by-election day proceedings in St. Philip North.
