The Ministry of Works' Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) is advising the public that single-lane traffic will remain in effect on several major roads as infrastructure repair works continue.

On Valley Road North, crews are carrying out road markings, guardrail adjustments, concrete works, and drainage improvements in the vicinity of Jennings, Bolans, and Jolly Harbour. Motorists travelling through these areas should expect delays and are urged to exercise caution.

Single-lane conditions are also in effect on Seatons-Seabreeze-Willikies Highway (SSWH) and Old Parham Road (OPR) as part of the broader infrastructure rehabilitation programme.

The PIMU is asking drivers to adhere to traffic management instructions and to reduce speed while passing through all active work zones. The works are part of ongoing efforts to upgrade and maintain the island's road network.

Residents and commuters are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly and allow additional time for their journeys until the works are completed.
