Hundreds of residents gathered at the Botanical Gardens this weekend to mark International Women's Day with a 5K walk dedicated to raising awareness about gender-based violence, according to Antigua News Room.
The event, titled Men & Women United 2026: Stop Gender-Based Violence 5K Walk, brought together participants from across the community in a show of solidarity against one of society's most pressing issues.
As reported by Antigua News Room, the walk was organised by Integrated Health Outreach in partnership with the Directorate of Gender, uniting both men and women in a collective call to action against gender-based violence.
