The Antigua Girls' High School (AGHS) received an EC$3,000 donation on Wednesday from a global network of alumnae, in a gesture reflecting the enduring bond between past students and their alma mater.
According to Antigua Observer, the cheque presentation was made by Dr. Ermina Osoba née Davis and former Headmistress Evelyn Sheppard née Davis, who represented the international alumnae network at the occasion. The donation follows a Book Project undertaken by the group, underscoring the continued commitment of past students around the world to supporting AGHS.
The presentation highlights the active role that the school's alumni community continues to play in contributing to the institution's development, even from abroad.
