A 33-year-old Antigua resident has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a firearm magazine after police intercepted him carrying a wireless party speaker concealing a 30-round 9mm magazine inside.
According to Antigua Observer, Alex Joseph of Nut Grove was stopped by police along Simon Bolivar Boulevard in the St Johnston's Village area shortly after collecting the speaker from a shipping agency. Officers discovered the magazine concealed within the device during their inspection.
Joseph, 33, admitted to possession of the firearm magazine following the discovery. The 30-round 9mm magazine had been hidden inside the wireless party speaker, which Joseph had retrieved from the shipping agency prior to being intercepted by authorities.
