United States authorities have tightened visa access for Antiguan and Barbudan nationals, with newly issued non-immigrant visas now restricted to a single entry and a validity period of just three months.

According to Antigua Observer, the updated US visa reciprocity schedule confirms that newly issued non-immigrant visas — including those covering tourism and business travel — now permit only one entry into the United States within that limited timeframe.

The change marks a further deepening of restrictions on travel documents issued to citizens of Antigua and Barbuda, and reflects the reciprocity-based framework the US applies when determining visa terms for nationals of foreign countries.

The development is expected to have practical implications for Antiguans and Barbudans who travel frequently to the United States for business, family visits, or tourism, as previously issued visas with multiple-entry privileges or longer validity periods will no longer be the standard for new applicants.
