Opposition Member of Parliament for St. John's Rural West, Richard Lewis, says two years have elapsed without a definitive response from the information commissioner regarding a property on Friars Hill Road allegedly belonging to the son of Prime Minister Gaston Browne.
According to Antigua Observer, Lewis is now warning that the matter will not be allowed to fade quietly from public attention.
The opposition MP has been pressing for clarity on the property in question, and his frustration reflects a broader concern about transparency and accountability in how such inquiries are handled by the relevant authorities.
Lewis's comments signal that he intends to keep the issue firmly in the public domain, despite what he describes as an extended period of non-response from the information commissioner's office.
