The Ministry of Agriculture welcomed close to 250 secondary school students to the Multi-Purpose Cultural Centre on Thursday for its second annual Agricultural Career Fair and Expo — more than double the turnout recorded at last year's inaugural event.
The Ministry organised the event, which brought together students from Sir Novelle Richards Academy and other secondary institutions across the island, with the aim of building a youth pipeline into the agricultural sector.
The significant increase in student participation signals growing interest in the fair as an established fixture on the agricultural calendar, and reflects the Ministry's continued push to engage young people in the industry.
