The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda has reached its limit with the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) over the ongoing failure to provide adequate street lighting across the country, according to Antigua Observer.
Acting Prime Minister Sir Steadroy Benjamin delivered a firm and direct message to the Authority during Wednesday's Cabinet meeting, making clear that the persistent inadequacy of street lighting is no longer acceptable to the government.
Director General of Communications Maurice Merchant confirmed that the Acting Prime Minister did not mince words in addressing the matter, as reported by Antigua Observer.
