Integrated Health Outreach Antigua and Barbuda is inviting all citizens to participate in its annual Gender-Based Violence Awareness Walk, scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, starting at the Botanical Gardens at 2 p.m. According to Antigua Observer, the organisation is urging the public to lace up their sneakers and take a stand against gender-based violence.

Communications Officer Kieron Murdoch noted that the event has grown significantly since its inception, reflecting increasing public awareness and community engagement around the issue of gender-based violence in Antigua and Barbuda.

Registration is now open for those wishing to take part in the walk. Members of the public are encouraged to sign up and show their solidarity with survivors and advocates working to end gender-based violence across the nation.
