Sir Ron Sanders, the Ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS) from Antigua and Barbuda, has been assigned the task of securing financial resources to host the OAS conference next year. The decision to hold the 55th General Assembly in Antigua and Barbuda was made during a General Assembly meeting in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Sir Sanders believes this decision reflects the confidence in Antigua and Barbuda’s leadership and people. He has been tasked with lobbying other governments to help offset the substantial costs of hosting the event.
