WASHINGTON, USA – The Global Taiwan Institute (GTI) has announced the publication of a new occasional report titled The Chinese Communist Party’s Gray Zone Tactics Against Taiwan.
This report examines the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) strategy of using “gray zone” tactics intended to erode Taiwan’s exercise of territorial sovereignty, wear down its military and law enforcement resources, and diminish the sense of security held by its citizens.
The report was written by Derek Grossman, a senior defense analyst at the RAND Corporation. This report is the third in GTI’s “Counter Ideological Work and Political Warfare” research series, a planned five-part series of GTI policy reports on the means and methods employed in CCP ideological work and political warfare directed against Taiwan.
