The UWI FIC Master Plan, aimed at creating a new campus, earned special recognition in the 2024 SCUP Excellence Awards for its outstanding planning.
This achievement is particularly notable as it marks the first fully planned campus in Antigua, setting a high benchmark for the built environment. SCUP commended the government for its visionary approach and expressed hope that the Antiguan community will acknowledge and value UWI’s dedication to excellent planning and design.
