The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has been informed of a wounding incident near the V.C. Bird Market following a 911 call.
A 21-year-old resident of Hatton sustained a facial injury around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. The victim was reportedly struck in the face, resulting in a bleeding wound above the left eye.
According to the report, the victim was involved in an altercation with an individual identified only as “Quan.” It is alleged that Quan used a firearm during the altercation.
The injured individual was taken to the Emergency Room for treatment, where medical assessments were conducted, including a CT scan to evaluate the extent of the injury.
Despite police efforts to locate the alleged offender, searches have been unsuccessful thus far. Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
